1What are the uses of Amaryl?

Glimepiride tablets are sold in the market under various trade names, Amaryl is one of them. It belongs to the class of drugs called sulphonylurea. It is prescribed to maintain the sugar level of blood or to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps by increasing the synthesis of insulin by pancreas. 

2How to take Glimepiride ?

 It is usually taken once in a day with breakfast. Swallow the drug as a whole don't chew, crush or break the tablet. It is generally recommended to take it with a full glass of water. Don't take the drug without prescription. 

3What if I miss a dose or overdose?

If you forget to take a dose, don't be panic, you can take it later. If the time exceeded the time of the next dose, then skip the previous dose. Don't take both the doses at the same time to avoid any overdose of the drug.
