Flomax is a branded drug that contains a salt called tamsulosin. It is generally prescribe to improve urination. It also helps to relax the muscle of the prostate that makes urination is too easier. It can also be prescribed to treat benign prostate hyperplasia i.e BPH.

How To Use:-

Generally, this drug can be taken with food i.e 30 min. Before meal. Don't take this drug in hypertension i.e to treat high blood pressure. The drug can be easily swallowed. Don't chew or crush the tablet. To get the more benefits you can take this medication regularly under the supervision of your physician.

What if I miss a dose or overdose:-

If u forget to take a dose, don't panic about that, you can take it later. If the time exceeded the time of next dose, then skip the previous dose. Don't take both doses at the same time to avoid an overdose of the drug. Overdose of Flomax may lead to severe side effects like difficulty in breathing. In this case, consult your health care professional as early as possible. Or you can also call any poison control center.
