Why Uroxatral is prescribed:-

Alfuzosin is a drug that sold under the common brand name Uroxatral. It is generally prescribed to treat benign prostate hyperplasia i.e BPH. It is also be used to improve urinary flow by relaxing the muscle around the bladder.

How to use:-

Swallow the whole tablet. Don't chew, crush or break it. It is recommended to take it with food. Don't take the drug in an empty stomach to avoid any gastric irritation. More beneficial if the drug is taken each day at the same time.

What if I miss a dose or overdose:-

If u forget to take a dose, don't panic about that, you can take it later. If the time exceeded the time of the next dose, then skip the previous dose. Or consult with your doctor.
Overdose of Uroxatral may cause severe dizziness COPD. In this case, consult your health care professional as early as possible. Or you can also call any poison control center.
